Setting up SMS

  • Identify what phone number will be used as the Primary texting number
  • Make sure the company has Mango+ then proceed to activate it under the yellow edit button when searching the company -
  • Enable SMS -
  • On the admin page go to Phone Numbers
  • Type in the phone number and activate the SMS field
  • If Voip:
  • Should look like this after you click Activate -
  • If Bandwidth:
  • Goto Bandwidth and confirm:

    • If this is not showing create a ticket with Bandwidth
  • After Activating the phone number for SMS go in the PBX on our Admin portal
  • Navigate to the Messaging Tab -
  • Create New Messaging Team -
  • Create Messaging Team
  • Add associated ext's by clicking blue plus -
  • Update messaging team -
  • Have Client download the desktop app from https://mangovoice.com/resources/
  • Test sending and receiving
