Grasshopper Call Forwarding

Using the Grasshopper Website:

  1. Log In to Grasshopper:

    • Go to the Grasshopper website.
    • Click on "Log In" at the top right corner.
    • Enter your username and password, then click "Log In."
  2. Access the Settings:

    • Once logged in, navigate to the "Settings" tab located in the left-hand menu.
  3. Choose the Number:

    • Under "Settings," find and click on "Call Forwarding" or "Forwarding Settings."
    • Select the business number you wish to forward.
  4. Set Up Call Forwarding:

    • You will see options to add a forwarding number. Click on "Add a Forwarding Number" or "Edit" if you are changing an existing forwarding number.
    • Enter the external number you want to forward your calls to.
    • Choose the forwarding rules such as "Always Forward," "Forward on No Answer," etc., depending on your preference.
  5. Save Changes:

    • After entering the details, make sure to save the changes by clicking "Save" or "Apply."

Using the Grasshopper Mobile App:

  1. Log In to the App:

    • Open the Grasshopper app on your mobile device.
    • Log in with your Grasshopper account credentials.
  2. Access Call Forwarding Settings:

    • Tap on the menu icon (usually three lines or dots) to open the navigation menu.
    • Select "Settings" from the menu.
  3. Select the Number:

    • In the settings menu, find and tap on "Call Forwarding" or "Forwarding Settings."
    • Choose the business number you want to forward.
  4. Set Up Forwarding:

    • Tap on "Add a Forwarding Number" or "Edit" if modifying an existing number.
    • Enter the external number to which you want to forward calls.
    • Set the forwarding preferences, such as always forwarding or conditional forwarding.
  5. Save the Configuration:

    • Ensure that you save your new settings by tapping "Save" or "Apply."

Verify Call Forwarding:

  1. Test the Forwarding:

    • After setting up call forwarding, make a test call to your business number to ensure that the call is correctly forwarded to the external number.
  2. Check for Confirmation:

    • If the call is forwarded successfully, you should receive it on the external number you specified.
