Error, "Warning Not Authorized"

SMS number cannot be activated, due to the wrong Provider is selected

Problem:  When trying to activate a number for SMS, in the Mango Voice Web Portal, it will not activate and says, "Warning, not Authorized."

Reason: Mango Voice is trying to turn on SMS with the given carrier and cannot find that number in the carrier list, so it is saying it can't find that number.

Fix: Simply edit the the provider in the "Phone Number" section to either Bandwidth or VOIP Innovations.

After clicking on the Edit button in the main menu, navigate to the Provider section and select the other carrier (either Voip Innovations or Bandwidth).

Once the selection is made, click the Close button.

 

Now when you click Activate for SMS you will get a Success popup.
