Dial By Name - Switchboard Object

The Dial By Name object prompts the caller to enter the first few letters of a person's name to be able to find their extension and dial it directly.

Options

·         Lookup By Extension Name: Allows the caller to look up people by extension name. Do not use any non-alphabetic characters.

·         Lookup By User Name: Allows the caller to look up people by user name.

Use Cases

This is great to use if you have a lot of employees that get direct calls and want the calls to be transferred directly to them.
