If an option doesn't work, try another

Option 1) Try the normal *72 method

Option 2) From every line on an AT&T phone, dial *72 immediately followed by the temporary number plus #.

e.g. *729072682420#

Option 3) Log into the business account https://www.att.com/acctmgmt/login and enable the call forwarding there.

  1. Log in to Your Account:

    • Go to the AT&T Business VoIP website.
    • Enter your user ID and password to log in to your account.
  2. Access the Phone Settings:

    • Navigate to the "My Services" or "Manage Features" section.
    • Select your VoIP service from the list of available services.
  3. Find Call Forwarding Settings:

    • Look for the "Call Forwarding" option within your phone settings. This might be under a menu like "Call Management" or "Advanced Features."
  4. Enable Call Forwarding:

    • Click on "Call Forwarding" to open the settings.
    • You might see different types of call forwarding options (e.g., Always, No Answer, Busy). Choose "Call Forwarding Always" to forward all calls.
  5. Enter the Forwarding Number:

    • Enter the external number to which you want to forward your calls in the provided field.
    • Make sure to enter the full phone number, including the area code.
  6. Save the Settings:

    • After entering the forwarding number, click "Save" or "Apply" to activate the call forwarding feature.
  7. Verify the Forwarding:

    • Make a test call to your business number to ensure that calls are being forwarded to the external number you provided.
