If an option doesn't work, try another
Option 1) Try the normal *72 method
Option 2) From every line on an AT&T phone, dial *72 immediately followed by the temporary number plus #.
e.g. *729072682420#
Option 3) Log into the business account https://www.att.com/acctmgmt/login and enable the call forwarding there.

- Make sure to enter the full phone number, including the area code.

- Make a test call to your business number to ensure that calls are being forwarded to the external number you provided.
